Read each chart on its own scale. Inflation compares prices with a year earlier; the two employment rates measure different groups. They cannot be added together.

Observations will appear here after a successful retrieval. No estimates or sample numbers are substituted when the source is unavailable.
Use inflation and employment as context for a market discussion. They do not measure your category's sales, a competitor's advertising investment, or the effect of a campaign. The table links each observation to its source so your team can check what was measured before deciding what it means.
The charts show available months from each source’s latest year, not a rolling 12-month window. Monthly changes compare consecutive observations in the same series, in percentage points. A lower positive inflation rate still means prices are higher than a year earlier. These figures do not predict your sales or explain why a change happened.

Sources, coverage, and methodology v2
Coverage
Philippines, national aggregates. Two consumer-price indicators and two Labor Force Survey indicators, reported monthly. Regional, brand, and sector filters are not part of this preview.
Selection and rounding
For each source table, the connector selects the latest returned period with both required values. Values are displayed to one decimal place. Charts retain returned months through that latest complete period; an incomplete pair leaves a gap in both series. Missing or rejected observations remain unavailable, never zero. Changes subtract the displayed one-decimal rates and require consecutive months. Charts use calendar spacing, include zero, and have separately labelled vertical scales. No confidence intervals are supplied by this feed; no statistical-significance claim is made.
Definitions
Inflation is the year-on-year change in the consumer price index. Unemployment is a share of the labor force; underemployment is a share of employed people who want more hours of work. PSA price definitions · PSA labor definitions.
Three different dates
Observation period describes the data. Source table update is PSA metadata, shown as supplied without assuming a timezone. Retrieval is when the connector fetched the data, displayed in Asia/Manila.
Refresh and revisions
While the application is running, the connector checks PSA once per minute and the visible page checks once per minute. Newly published observations normally appear within about two minutes plus source response time. Failed checks retry with backoff up to five minutes. This does not change the monthly publication cadence. A subsequent source revision can replace the displayed observation; this preview is not a historical archive.
Availability
Fresh means the required observations were retrieved successfully. Partial means a source failed; its last successful observations are marked cached, or unavailable if none remain. Cached means a refresh failed and previous observations remain visible for at most 24 hours after retrieval. Expired values are hidden. A cold application instance must retrieve the sources before showing values.
